361 Capital’s Board of Managers provides general oversight and guidance to the firm. They meet four times per year and frequently review firm strategy, company financials, investment performance, and regulatory compliance.

Tom Florence, Chairman and CEO

Tom Florence is Chairman and CEO of 361 Capital and is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Firm. He has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry across multiple facets including investment management, distribution, operations and corporate strategy.

Prior to joining 361 Capital in 2009, Mr. Florence was Managing Partner of Dividend Capital Group, a real estate investment management company (now Black Creek Capital). In addition, he was a co-founder and President of Dividend Capital Investments, a Registered Investment Advisor managing portfolios of real estate securities. Prior to this, Mr. Florence was Managing Director at Morningstar, Inc. and served on the Firm’s Executive Management Committee. Additionally, during his tenure at Morningstar, he founded and was President of Morningstar Investments Services, a Registered Investment Advisor.

Mr. Florence began his career in 1985 at Merrill Lynch and additionally spent five years at Fidelity in Boston. Mr. Florence served on the Board of Trustees of two mutual fund companies, including Janus Capital Group (now Janus Henderson). He is a frequent industry speaker and a guest lecturer at the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business. Mr. Florence holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg Management Institute.

Blaine Rollins

Blaine Rollins, CFA, Managing Director

Blaine Rollins, CFA is Managing Director. His responsibilities include investment research, portfolio construction and management, hedging and trading strategies. Mr. Rollins is also the author of the hugely popular 361 Weekly Research Briefing, which has a weekly circulation of over 80,000.

Prior to joining 361 Capital in 2011, Mr. Rollins served as Executive Vice President at Janus Capital Group (now Janus Henderson) and Portfolio Manager of the Janus Fund, Janus Balanced Fund, Janus Equity Income Fund and the Janus Triton Fund. He began his career as a financial analyst at AMG in 1989 and has three decades of financial services industry experience.

Mr. Rollins earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Colorado. Mr. Rollins has also earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA).

John Riddle

John R. Riddle, CFA, Chief Investment Officer

John R. Riddle, CFA is Chief Investment Officer of 361 Capital and is responsible for managing the investment department, including oversight of strategy development, investment research and portfolio management. Mr. Riddle serves as lead portfolio manager of the firm's behavioral-driven equity strategies, including large cap, mid cap and small cap equity. He is also author of the foundational academic research that supports our behavioral-driven investment philosophy and process. He has over 39 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Mr. Riddle joined 361 Capital through the acquisition of BRC Investment Management in 2016, a firm he co-founded and served as Managing Principal and Chief Investment Officer. Previously, he was President and Chief Investment Officer of Duff & Phelps and CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Capital West Asset Management. During his tenure at these firms, he served as lead portfolio manager for a variety of long/short, market neutral, portable alpha, 130-30 risk mitigated and short-only investment strategies for large institutional pension clients.

Mr. Riddle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Hawaii and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Connecticut. He has also earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA). Mr. Riddle is a member of the Denver Society of Security Analysts.

Dave Agostine

Dave Agostine, Chief Executive Officer of Cachematrix

Dave Agostine is Chief Executive Officer of Cachematrix. His extensive career in the financial services industry has spanned a wide range of accomplishments.

Immediately prior to joining Cachematrix, Mr. Agostine was a Principal with Market Metrics, an analytics division of the multinational financial data and software company FactSet Research Systems. Before joining Market Metrics, Mr. Agostine spent more than 23 years in the financial services industry, successfully growing and operating investment management organizations. He was Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Janus Capital Institutional, where he co-founded and grew the company’s institutional services group to over $100 billion in assets under management. His clients included many of the largest U.S. and global financial services firms. Prior to Janus, Mr. Agostine was a Vice President with Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Company, responsible for managing distribution of specialty investment products for bank trust departments and insurance companies.

During his career, Mr. Agostine was also President of Dividend Capital Investments, a real estate securities management firm. He has also served on the Boards of public investment trusts. Other professional experience includes corporate banking and private equity development.

Mr. Agostine received a degree in Finance and Economics from the University of South Florida. He is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals, the Investment Company Institute and the Independent Directors Council. He has also held a number of related securities licenses.

Jeff Lovell

Jeffrey D. Lovell, Co-Chairman of Lovell Minnick Partners

Jeffrey D. Lovell is Co-Chairman of Lovell Minnick Partners (LMP) and co-founded the Firm in 1999. He co-chairs the firm's Board of Managers and is a member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to co-founding LMP, Mr. Lovell co-founded Putnam Lovell Group Inc. (“Putnam Lovell”) in 1987. In his years at Putnam Lovell, he served as President and Vice Chairman through its development from a single office, M&A advisory firm to a full-service investment bank with over 150 employees serving financial institutions worldwide from offices in the U.S. and U.K. Putnam Lovell became widely recognized as a prominent boutique firm in global financial services and Mr. Lovell served as the senior investment banker on numerous mergers and acquisitions. Prior to the founding of Putnam Lovell from 1976 through 1987, he held executive positions at SEI Investments (NASDAQ: SEIC) including Managing Director of SEI Financial Services (U.K.), Western Division Manager and Senior Vice President of National Sales.

Mr. Lovell is a member of the Boards of Directors of Matthews International Capital Management LLC, Mercer Advisors Inc., 361 Capital LLC, Tortoise Investments and SRS Acquiom. He is a Board Member Emeritus of the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado and, most recently, was a member of the Investment Committee of the University of Colorado Foundation for over a decade. Among others, prior board positions include Duff & Phelps Corporation, Leerink Partners Holdings LLC, and Stein Roe Investment Counsel LLC.

Mr. Lovell earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration, cum laude in Finance, from the Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado.
